Haroldston Hall, Phases 1 & 2
" The conversion of this former granary/coach house and stables set into a hillside within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, has transformed it from a dilapidated redundant building into a striking three bedroom home and adjoining holiday apartment.
The roofs have been rebuilt to accommodate new attic rooms, together with a two-storey extension. In addittion, new floors have been laid, and an ecological sewage treatment system installed.
In terms of layout, a dramatic galleried bridge gives access to an upper level 'loft' living space, overlooking the double height kitchen/diner below"

Nun Street, St.David's : Remodelling of cottage
The existing cottage layout had a lot of wasted circulation space and a lack of natural light. IDeA Architects transformed the property by removing partitions to create an open plan kitchen-diner on the ground floor, and turning the staircase through 180 degrees, allowing for a wc and shower room under the stairs. New doubled-up joists were installed over the kitchen-diner including sound insulation treatment.
The removal of an underused bathroom on the first floor allowed for the creation of a study area on the landing with a new full width window zone giving views to the sea.
The living area was extended by the removal of a corridor screen and a large sliding door was added to provide more daylight and easy access to the garden in fine weather. The conversion of the existing garage added an accessible bedroom, as well as a storage area and a separate entrance.
